All Purpose Sheds:

Homeowners today use shed-like buildings for many purposes beyond standard storage including art studios, workshops, guest quarters, etc. Despite architectural advances in shed design, many homeowners prefer a more elegant or boutique look, even for sheds being used for simple storage. Hurricane Proof is working with our manufacturing partner to develop a line of sheds that will best meet the preferences of these discriminating clients.

Our sheds can be installed on pre-poured concrete slabs or anchored onto a level ground site with factory flooring. We will also coordinate the addition of amenities such as electrical outlets, lighting, air conditioning, skylights, steps, decks, windows, vents, and other features.

Clear Span Steel Storage Sheds:
Clear span steel storage sheds made from heavy-guage Galvalume, a 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coated sheet steel. The strength comes from the building’s arched shape giving little for high winds to “grab hold of.” The arches are comprised of a series of corrugated steel panels that are overlapped 9" and double-bolted. The building is virtually maintenance free and 100% usable since there are no beams, columns or trusses.

In addition to storage sheds, there are several larger buildings suitable as commercial warehouse-type buildings, agriculture buildings or for storing practically anything including cars, trucks, RVs, boats or even small airplanes.

Storage Sheds (Aluminum or Vinyl exterior):
Heavy-duty wood frame storage sheds are engineered to withstand wind loads up to 150mph and satisfy the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs (DCA) building code. Features include the use of “mobile home type” anchors, southern yellow pine lumber, pressured treated flooring lumber, reinforced corner posts, with galvanized straps/clips throughout.

Siding options include aluminum, vinyl and fiber-cement, commonly known as hardi-plank. All are resistant to rust, rot and decay. Metal roofs are equally the best option, although vinyl and shingle are also available. Wind and impact resistant windows and doors are essential in protecting the shed, especially since many sheds have enlarged door openings.

Concrete Storage Sheds:
Concrete storage sheds are typically constructed from precast concrete panels that are assembled in place and anchored to a reinforced concrete slab. They are typically tested to withstand 250-mph winds and 100mph windborne objects. Some have exterior finishes of stucco to improve appearance.
